OUR COMFORTER AND PROTECTOR

This week was so amazing in every aspect, except how wet we got from the rain! ha! We really had a rough week in our sector the first week I was here and in our zone as well, but with God's help we can figure things out.

We really did not have anybody that we could teach and help come unto Christ. So we really put our shoulders to it and got to work. One really rainy day we were all sorts of wet and we had not really been able to get much done. Not letting anything get us down we kept going and knocked on a door and Silvia let us in! She was our great and grand miracle this week as she accepted everything we invited her to do! I went back with another missionary on a little exchange and she had read and prayed about what we left for her. We invited and she accepted. She accepted then and there to be baptized and she says she has received her answers. She went to church and STAYED ALL 3 HOURS that was a shocker! She loved it, and already found some friends!

That same day we went looking for some people we talked to in the road. Mind you in a private gated community we security guards! HAHAHA! After talking our way through the gate the games began! We touched one door-nothin', skipped one, heard a little kid scream and we both laughed and touched the next door- nothin'! Then we went back to the door we skipped and Carla and Hector said come in with out us even having to ask! Which is unheard of! They have 2 little boys too. Then we found Yoseline and her family. That one day we found 5 people that all accepted to be baptized because all of them have the desire to know which is the true path way back to our God's presence!

With the World Cup on wow- it is making work fun! When Chile plays we cannot even leave the house! It is really not all that fun! But hey, they won and now they have to play Spain Wednesday, who got destroyed by Holland! I have never had more desires to watch soccer!  Every house has the games on and it's almost impossible to get them to turn their TV's it off!

Love you all so much! Just keep praying for those missionary opportunities and they will come.
Happy anniversary to Mom And Dad, Deja and Josh and Dawnsheree and Steven!
Happy birthday Maylee
I'm really bad at this thing....remembering but it's better early and late than never I guess right?
Love,
Elder Hancock
